VOLCANOES AND GORILLAS
There is no other experience like trekking deep into the jungles of Central Africa in search of the last mountain gorillas. The sounds of the jungle around you, the non-existing path that is opened with a machete by the local rangers and, suddenly, you find yourself surrounded by a family of gorillas led by an impressive silverback male. Or maybe you want to accept the challenge to climb some of the highest volcanoes in Africa, crossing the jungle, meeting funny monkeys that spy you from the branches until you reach the summit above 4,000 meters?
LAKES
The best way to relax after some days in the middle of the jungle is to spend some days on the shores of the beautiful lakes of the Rift Valley that you can find in this region. You will enjoy the unique landscape, made of thousand hills, you can sail on a kayak or on local fishermen boats to discover the life of the local communities, swim into the fresh waters of some of the lakes and relax in some of the charming lodges that we have identified in the surroundings.
